Life through a lens - Surprise Sunday, Berry Red

On Christmas Day we decided to go over to Hainault Forest for a pre-dinner walk and... we took the dog. There was lots of ice, wet muddy puddles and a few people but not much colour.

Apart from this!

It was pretty much the only bit of colour we saw in the whole walk. Also I know it's not the most perfect photo but I'm starting to find being six and a half months pregnant a little bit limiting to getting certain shots, especially when you're surrounded by slippery mud and ice.

  1. This is such a pretty shot, the colors are perfect for Christmas! Please be careful on the ice - we have so much here and I worry for the pregnant and the elderly.

  3. Kala - thank you, it did really remind me of Christmas too. And yes I will be very careful I've already had most of a week housebound because of ice which when you have an eager to get outside six year old isn't and easy task. The snow this year just hasn't been fun it's been that horrible type here, is that the same as what you've had.

Katie - Thank you and Thank you.
